This Hunter’s Moon – Aries Full Moon – reaches its energetic height tomorrow morning, October 20 at 10:56 am ET and is all about illuminating how we are directing our energy, how we motivate ourselves, how we’ve grown, and being honest with ourselves about where we’re heading. Take a good long look! The Aries-Libra axis is about finding balance between putting yourself and your personal needs first and compromising so everyone feels good, keeping relationships with others pleasant. Any time this axis is at play, we are asked to evaluate how we are showing up for ourselves in the context of our relationships with others and are we setting appropriate boundaries to ensure we are honoring our needs??
This New Moon is in the sign Libra which is a Cardinal Air sign, energetically representing balance, diplomacy, fairness, beauty, art, and music. The planetary ruler of the sign Libra is Venus, representing how we see beauty in the world. So, during the next couple of days, as we experience the energy of this New Moon, take some time to observe your thoughts, your emotions, the core beliefs you have about yourself and notice – how can you shift your patters in a way that enables you feel more in a state of harmony with your most true inner Self? Where does it seem like your beliefs are at odds with how you see beauty in the world? How can you feel more at peace with the energies in both your heart and your mind?
When we work with the Virgo-Pisces axis, we are working with mutable energy. It’s a time of shifting – listening to and acknowledging our dreams, how we feel about those dreams, and how we bring those dreams down into our physical reality. Pisces represents dreams, intuition, and the interconnectedness of all, and Virgo represents service, routines, and details. So, this axis represents how we envision a life aligned with our Soul path and organize to manifestation. This Full Moon energy is all about reflecting on how we show up as whole beings – not just the fragmented pieces of ourselves many of us fall into patterns of acknowledging due to fear or worry, where we’ve been blocking ourselves from this blissfully aligned connection, and determining what steps we can now take to walk our most aligned path with ease, grace, and flow . . . sounds magical, doesn’t it??
Especially if we’ve been feeling overwhelmed, struggling, or experiencing change we’ve been resisting in a particular area of life concerning our values, relationships, finances, or how we experience pleasure in life, this is a perfect time to step back and evaluate other approaches we might take, which might just allow us to see the light just ahead and move forward in a more joyful way.
This full moon is the perfect time to reflect on the past month. What new perspectives did you discover during the days around the last full moon? What synchronicities have you noticed during the last month which have shown you areas of your life you might approach a little bit differently? How can you use this information to create the life experience you truly desire? What is no longer useful to you that you can leave behind? What can you take with you into this next phase to build the life ahead? This is about breaking out of confined spaces or old patterns for the benefit of the collective or community.
New Moons represent new beginnings & Leo’s charismatic energy is all about living life as your heart desires. Leo rules the heart & New Moon energy is about looking inward to discover what has been wanting to be expressed.
