Road Map To Owning Your Energy

We’ll get to experience the height of the full pink supermoon energy in Scorpio tonight, Monday, April 26 at 11:31 pm EST. Remember, we experience the energy of a full moon for a couple of days before & a couple of days after, so if yesterday or today, you’ve encountered some different vibes, this might offer a few answers to your why questions & you can expect these energies to continue into tomorrow & possibly a bit on Wednesday. The full moon is a time of reflection & release. This is the point where the Sun is directly opposite the Moon, shining light on all the dark spaces. This one in particular is a great time to ask the deep questions… look far beneath the surface to see where you have desire for change. Ask yourself where you may be holding on a bit too tightly to unhealthy emotional patterns or attachments that are no longer supporting you. This moon is allll about transformation & regeneration.

The Sun is in the sign Taurus, a fixed earth sign, whose energetic signature is that of grounding, stability, pleasure, beauty, & value systems. Fixed earth equals steady ground.

The Moon is in the sign Scorpio, a fixed water sign, whose energetic signature is that of deep psychological transformations, death & rebirth – really deep penetrating energy to look far beneath the surface. Fixed water equals an intensity for turning over darkness to release light like no other.

This full pink supermoon is all about releasing old fears, expectations, ways of thinking, & being, to allow space for rebirth so we can move forward in a way that is much more aligned with how we would want to show up in the world.

As we look at the placements of other planets influencing the energies we might be experiencing, this is your reminder to offer yourself a greater level of compassion & grace surrounding whatever comes up for you during this time.

The Moon is forming a square with Saturn in the sign Aquarius. Saturn brings a structured, which can sometimes feel like a restrictive, type of energy & the sign Aquarius is all about innovation & originality. A square is a disharmonious aspect which really means there’s some adjustment required. It may feel like the energies we encounter are at odds with each other. On the one hand, the Moon in the sign Scorpio encourages us to look at our shadow self – at whatever fear(s) or darkness we might typically bury – which might be a lot on its own, and on the other hand, the restrictive energy of Saturn in Aquarius may show up as new ways we discover to put our guard up & strengthen our boundaries. We can do both & learn & grow from the experience.

Viewing all through the lens of compassion & grace, look at what comes up. Allow it the compassionate space it needs, & choose your own boundaries – based on what you need, not what other influences in your life tell you you need. Remember, the energy of Scorpio is not just to look at what lies beneath, but also to clear away what no longer serves (which could mean some destruction – fun times!), so you can create the space necessary to rebuild something better & brighter. Create your own boundaries & don’t let societal restrictions dim your light.

As always, your astrological chart shows your own personal unique energetic signatures, so the current energetic influences will vary from one person to another. In this instance, if you have a lot of Scorpio or Taurus energy dominating your chart, you are likely to feel the energy of this full moon more than someone else who has other dominating energetic influences in their chart.
